“We are slowed down sound and light waves, a walking bundle of frequencies tuned to the cosmos.”
—Albert Einstein
Uaaooo offers a collaborative space for personal exploration in group and private settings.
Each session encourages self-healing research through guided vocal practices. The approach of Somatic Vocal Sounding combines body-centered techniques with modern insights into the nervous system, helping you to release tension and process emotions in real-time.

About me
I'm Mia-Maria, a queer musician and activist with a passion for raw expression.
My professional journey includes trainings in Vocal Sound Healing, Mikao Usui Reiki, and contemporary multimedia art. The experience of abstraction through deep listening and seeing has shaped my understanding of how creativity and healing intersect on an every day basis.
My personal research is to approach life with innate intuition that I believe to be within each of us, emphasizing self-authority over our bodies. In this I grow in dedication to foster a sense of interconnectedness. Especially in times of change and paradox I practice honesty and play.
Nature's cycles are my trusted guides, earthing me in the rhythm of ebb and flow. As I navigate this ocean of dynamic opposites in structure and fluidity, I am consistantly reminded of the importance to honor time and space for integration.
Everything we give, we give to ourselves, and in everything we receive, we find both our own essence and the strength of our community.
Express to Uncode
"Vocal toning and sound frequencies can stimulate the vagus nerve,
which plays a critical role in the regulation of the parasympathetic nervous system,
aiding relaxation and emotional regulation."
—Stephen Porges, Neuroscientist and creator of the Polyvagal Theory
Our self-made vocal sound is one of many tools to connect to our current emotional state.
Non-performative sound-making simply uses breath to carry a tone and allows
raw expression to emerge bringing valueable insights to our awareness.

Listening to the Pain Beneath
Often, a younger version of ourselves, unaware of better options, creates protective filters
around internal wounds. These filters may echo paradoxical beliefs like:
"I'll only be loved if I make myself small."
The pain underneath our masking or dissociation often remains unfelt, leaving our thoughts and habits
out of sync with our essence. The medicine for the pain lies within the pain itself.
Retuning the Subtle Body
The realignment of our frequencial symphony naturally occurs through deep rest.
On the somatic journey we aim to connect mind-body-spirit to accept a life of ease.
Flowing in our essence slowly ends the need of living in constant fight or avoidance,
pleasing others or isolating ourselves in order to avoid rejection.
This simple practice strengthens our ability to express boundaries, needs, and desires.
On this co-created path of self-discovery, we also carve out time and space to grieve
every moment we haven’t had the chance to be true to ourselves.
